The course “Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability of Business on the Path to EU Integration” has been launched as part of the Jean Monnet Erasmus+ project

The lectures of the Department of Accounting and Taxation, Dr. of Sc., associate professor Makarenko Inna, Ph.D., senior lecturer Oleksich Zhanna, have started the course “Transparency, accountability and sustainable development of business on the way to EU integration” within the framework of the Jean Monet module project “Transparency. Accountability. Responsibility. Governance. Europe. Trust. Sustainability” financed by the Erasmus+ program (101085395— TARGETS — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH), , with a total duration of 52 hours.

The course is designed to provide a comprehensive system of knowledge about EU actions on sustainable development and awareness of their implementation in Ukraine to accelerate progress towards the SDGs.

Course objectives:

– gain a deep understanding of the conceptual framework and legislative standards in the EU sustainable development system;

– provide students with relevant tools for financing sustainable development, transparency and benchmarking;

– equip students with practical tools for creating sustainable development reports, organizing CSR in companies and best cases in promoting SDGs, generating sustainable development ideas, financing environmentally friendly and social projects, and independent verification of information on sustainable development.

The course is implemented using the latest methodological tools and practice-oriented methodologies.

Teaching methods: interactive lectures; cases, master class; game modeling, group work and discussions, as well as self-presentation and submission of ideas; e-Learning (blended learning); portfolio method and excursion.
