Start of the scientific circle “Accounting, analysis, audit and taxation: international context”

We are pleased to announce the launch of the scientific circle “Accounting, analysis, audit and taxation: international context”. As part of the scientific circle’s activities, a number of events will be held: master classes, round tables, debates.

Special attention should be paid to the events that will be organized within the framework of the course “Transparency, accountability and stability of business on the path to EU integration” (Jean Monnet module 101085395— TARGETS — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH).

The program of the circle includes a series of round tables dedicated to key topics:

– Conceptual foundations of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the EU and Ukraine;

– Sustainable development standards and legislative landscape;

– Specific instruments for financing sustainable development;

– Sustainable development accounting, reporting and transparency in the EU and Ukraine;

– Practice of ensuring and verifying sustainable development reporting;

– Sustainable development benchmarks in the EU and Ukraine.

The first round table was held on the topic “Sustainable development and CSR frameworks in the EU and Ukraine” on August 22, 2024. The participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the EU experience in introducing the concept of sustainable development and CSR, discuss the prospects for adapting these principles in Ukraine and share views on the ways of Ukraine’s integration into the European community through sustainable development.

We invite all interested parties to join the next events of the scientific circle, discuss current issues and expand their professional worldview in an international context.

The circle focuses its activities on studying modern challenges and opportunities in the field of sustainable development, accounting and taxation, as well as the role of European standards in ensuring transparency and accountability of business.
