A series of trainings on public debt management has been completed as part of the Jean Monnet Erasmus+ module project

On June 24, 2024, the third and final part of the series of trainings on public debt management, which were conducted under the guidance of Natalia Viktorivna Ovcharova, PhD, Senior Lecturer, was completed. The trainings were implemented within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module project “EU experience in public debt management: conclusions for Ukraine in the war and post-war period”, funded by the Erasmus+ program (101127602-EUEPDM-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH). The trainings, which lasted during the month of June, were implemented for students and teachers of Sumy State University.

The participants gained knowledge on methods of debt burden assessment, public debt risks and their minimization, theoretical foundations and examples from European and Ukrainian practice of analyzing the structure and dynamics of public debt. They were actively involved in discussions and debated international practices of public debt management in the EU and Ukraine.
