Successful completion of the virtual mobility program “EU-Ukraine Best Practices towards SDGs progress “-2024 within the framework of the implementation of the Jean Monnet Erasmus project

On April 9, 2024, the virtual mobility program “EU-Ukraine Best Practices towards SDGs progress” within the framework of the Jean Monet module project “Transparency. Accountability. Responsibility. Governance. Europe. Trust. Sustainability” financed by the Erasmus+ program (101085395— TARGETS — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH) was completed.

As part of the program, participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the main trends and experience of EU countries regarding the formation of sustainable development policies, European sustainable financing strategies, and shifting the paradigm of corporate accountability towards resilience and accountability using blockchain technologies.

The invited experts included Ph.D., Associate Professor, Member of the Academic Advisory Body at the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA), Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Dell Technologies, Seville, Spain – Bednárová Michaela, MSc, Ing, PhD student at the Department of Soil Science and Soil Protection, Czech University of Life Sciences, Rieznyk Oleksandra, as well as the lecturers of the Department of Accounting and Taxation – Dr. of Sc., Prof. Makarenko Inna, Ph.D., associate professor Serpeninova Yuliya,  Ph.D., senior lecturer Oleksich Zhanna.

Throughout the entire series of virtual classes, over 200 scholars and business representatives, students, and postgraduates from Ukraine and the EU participated, including bachelor’s, master’s, and postgraduate students specializing in “Accounting and Taxation” from Sumy State University. Additionally, among the participants were representatives from Assumption University (Thailand), Bahrain Polytechnic University (Bahrain), Malaysia University of Science & Technology (Malaysia), University of Helsinki (Finland), Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, State Tax University, Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, Dnipro State Agrarian and Economic University, Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education, West Ukrainian National University, Lviv University of Trade and Economics, Mykolaiv National Agrarian University, Odesа Polytechnic National University, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, National Technical University – «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute».
