The MES emphasizes that all benefits and benefit categories will be preserved. At the same time, officials of the Ministry of Reintegration say that the mechanism for applying this year’s benefits for residents of particularly dangerous areas will be determined in the spring. At the same time, the situation in Ukraine will be taken into account.
It was emphasized here that the second stage of transfer to the budgetary form of education of beneficiaries enrolled in colleges and universities until 2021 inclusive is ongoing. We are talking about residents of particularly dangerous areas, children of fallen defenders of Ukraine, participants in hostilities, and people with disabilities as a result of the war.
In total, in 2022, more than 21,000 students received permission to transfer to free education. It is also noted that entrants who are registered and are in the temporarily occupied territory will be able to pass all stages of the entrance campaign remotely without taking the national multi-subject test (NMT).
For security reasons, NMT will take place within 1 day. Temporary examination centers for taking the test will function on the territory controlled by Ukraine. They are also planned to be created in European countries, in particular in Ukrainian educational centers. This will allow fellow citizens who found refuge abroad to enroll in Ukrainian educational institutions.
