The second virtual classes “EU-Ukraine best practice towards SDGs progress” were held as part of the implementation of the Jean Monet Erasmus project

On April 26, 2023, the second virtual classes “EU-Ukraine best practice towards SDGs progress” were held at the Department of Accounting and Taxation of Sumy State University within the framework of the Jean Monet module project “Transparency. Accountability. Responsibility. Governance. Europe. Trust. Sustainability” financed by the Erasmus+ program (101085395– TARGETS – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH).  The event was dedicated to blockchain technologies for sustainable digital transformation.

The invited expert was Daniel Daucik, EMEA Digitization Manager for IBM Technology Support Services. More than 90 scientists and representatives of business, students and postgraduates from Ukraine and the EU, including bachelors, masters and post-graduate students of the specialty “Accounting and Taxation”,  joined as listeners.

The guest expert was Daniel Dauchik, IBM Technology Support Digitization Manager in the EMEA region. More than 100 scientists and representatives of business, students and postgraduates from Ukraine and the EU joined as listeners.

Daniel considered the essence of blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies in terms of ensuring sustainable digital transformation, their spread and the peculiarities of regulatory regulation, in particular, taking into account European initiatives, and also shared the practical experience of implementing the blockchain strategy adopted at IBM.
