UCAQE draws the attention of future NMT participants to the most common mistakes when registering for testing.
Two such typical mistakes are uploading incorrect copies of documents and providing certificates from an educational institution with incorrect wording.
- Entrants are asked not to download OQ codes generated in the Diya application instead of scanned copies of registration documents.
UCAQE explains that OQ-codes have a limited validity period, which is why specialists of assessment centers cannot get access to them.
Correct: entrants need to upload scanned or photocopies of their documents for successful registration.
- Another mistake is the incorrect wording of the certificate from the educational institution in which the NMT participant receives a full general secondary education.
In particular, educational institutions issue certificates to entrants, in which it is noted that the entrant is “still studying in the 11th grade”.
Because of this, centers for evaluating the quality of education do not have the opportunity to check information about whether a future participant of the NMT acquires a full general secondary education in the current year.
Correct: the entrant must provide a certificate stating that the student completes general secondary education in May, June or July of the current year.
