THE WORK OF THE SCIENTIFIC CLUB OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING AND TAXATION

May 22, 2025 – a meeting as a part of the work of the scientific group of the Department of Accounting and Taxation “Accounting, Analysis, Audit and Taxation: International Context” (scientific leader – Ph.D, Associate Professor Zhanna Oleksich) was held.

We continue a series of round tables as the part of the course “Transparency, accountability and stability of business on the way to EU integration”.

Today’s roundtable was dedicated to the following topic: “Assurances for Sustainable Practices. Justification and Stakeholder Trust.” Assurances and stakeholder trust are key elements in the sustainability reporting process. Guarantees ensure the objectivity and reliability of data, and trust creates a positive perception of the reporting process among stakeholders, which contributes to better cooperation and adherence to sustainable development standards.

Trust is built through transparency and openness in the reporting process. When stakeholders understand that a company is serious about sustainability, they are more likely to trust its statements and actions. This, in turn, improves collaboration and encourages greater stakeholder engagement.

Enter our department and join our scientific community!
