On December 20, 2022, the Department of Accounting and Taxation started a series of open lectures and workshops “Science for Sustainable Development” within the framework of the Jean Monet module project “Transparency. Accountability. Responsibility. Governance. Europe. Trust. Sustainability” financed by the Erasmus+ program (101085395— TARGETS — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH). The participants of the project, Dr. of Sc., associate professor Makarenko Inna, Ph.D., associate professor Serpeninova Yuliya, Ph.D., senior lecturer Oleksich Zhanna, presented fundamental approaches to determining the role of sovereign wealth funds in bridging the investment gap in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Particular emphasis is placed on the experience of European sovereign funds for the formation of a fund for the recovery of Ukraine.
