THE METHODOLOGICAL GUIDE “DEVELOPING THE PROFESSIONAL SKILLS FOR GRADUATING STUDENTS: EUROPEAN LESSONS” IS PRESENTED WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE JEAN MONNET ERASMUS+ MODULE PROJECT

The Jean Monnet module project “EU Experiences for Enhancing Youth Employability through Professional Skills Development” funded by the Erasmus+ program (ERASMUS – JMO -2021-MODULE -SKILLS4JOB-101047867) continues to actively promote the preparation of students for international employment and provides them with opportunities to improve their skills and enrich their knowledge in accordance with the requirements of the modern labor market.
In particular, the project participants – Ph.D., Associate Professor Serpeninova Y. S., Ph.D., Associate Professor Zamora O. M., Doctor of Economics, Professor Vynnychenko N. V. and Ph.D., Associate Professor Shcherbyna T. V. –have developed a methodological guide “Developing the Professional Skills for Graduating Students: European Lessons”.
Its value lies in the specific recommendations aimed at improving the professional training of students and all those interested in employment in the EU market or in companies operating under EU standards and values systems. In particular, the guide provides practical advice on finding competitions and applying for individual grants for students, recommendations on developing cross-cultural competencies as part of market-oriented skills, assessing professional skills and advice on their effective presentation when applying for a job in accordance with EU requirements, and provides a methodology for project reporting in accordance with European and international requirements. A separate block is devoted to recommendations for preparing application documents, a resume in the Europass format, writing a motivation letter and a letter of recommendation.
