On January 8, 2023, the cycle of open lectures and seminars “Science for Sustainable Development” continued at the Department of Accounting and Taxation within the framework of the Jean Monet module project “Transparency. Accountability. Responsibility. Governance. Europe. Trust. Sustainability” financed by the Erasmus+ program (101085395— TARGETS — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH).
The organizers of the project, Dr. of Sc., associate professor Makarenko Inna, Ph.D., associate professor Serpeninova Yuliya, Ph.D., senior lecturer Oleksich Zhanna, presented a lecture on the topic “The role of the European Union in reporting on sustainable development”. During the lectures, the key aspects of the EU’s regulatory influence on the development of reporting standards for sustainable development were highlighted, as well as EU initiatives aimed at harmonizing reporting standards for sustainable development between countries were discussed.
