SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE WINTER SCHOOL “THE BEST EU EXPERIENCES FOR ENHANCING EMPLOYABILITY” WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE JEAN MONNET MODULE

From October 1 to 4, 2024, an international 4-day training event in the format of a winter school was held within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module “EU Experiences for Enhancing Youth Employability through Professional Skills Development”, funded by the Erasmus+ program (ERASMUS – JMO -2021-MODULE -SKILLS4JOB-101047867).

The topic of the event proved to be very relevant and brought together more than 280 participants from Switzerland, Bulgaria, Canada, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Turkey, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine, including teachers, graduate students, representatives of the academic community, and young people seeking to improve their professional skills and competitiveness in the labor market.

The authors of the project and, in particular, the speakers of the winter school are professors from Sumy State University: Yuliia Serpeninova – Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation, Oksana Zamora – Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations, Tetiana Shcherbyna – Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations, and Nataliia Vynnychenko – Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation.

The International Winter School onThe Best EU Experiences For Enhancing Employability” was held online, which allowed to attract not only the authors of the project, but also many interesting experts from different countries, including

  • Yulia Bodashevska – Lecturer, expert of international projects on the implementation of economic support programs, humanitarian aid and decentralization..
  • Kostiantyn Ploskyi – NGO PAUCI, Deputy Executive Director, Member of Executive Committee.
  • Khrystyna Savuliak – Deputy head of the Business Community Club Ukraine NGO, Project manager of the Business Information Support Centres Network NGO.
  • Barbara Crawford – Senior Lecturer, Global Competence Department, School of Business, Jamk University of Applied Sciences, Jyvaskyla, Finland.
