Start of the Jean Monnet module “EU experience in public debt management: conclusions for Ukraine in the war and post-war period” (101127602-EUEPDM-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH) of the EU Erasmus+ programme

The lecturers of the Department of Accounting and Taxation, Doctor of Philosophy, Filatova Hanna, PhD, Associate Professor, Kravchenko Olena, and PhD, D., Senior Lecturer Ovcharova Nataliia have started a three-year project to implement the Jean Monnet module “EU experience in public debt management: conclusions for Ukraine in the war and post-war period”, funded by the Erasmus+ programme (101127602-EUEPDM-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH).
The key goal of the project is to multiply the EU experience (theoretical foundations, practical recommendations, improvement of scientific and methodological approaches) in public debt management in Ukraine during the wartime and post-war periods. One of the main tasks is to raise awareness of these issues among young people and the public.

To achieve this goal, a new MOOC “The public debt of Ukraine in the economic development policy in the war and post-war period: EU experience” will be developed and implemented. The dissemination of the project results will be facilitated by practice-oriented events: two Summer Schools “Analysis of of public debt ” and “Debt Security: The Case of Ukraine and European Countries”; Winter School “Strategy of public debt management in conditions of uncertainty” and a series of printed materials (research papers, conference proceedings, monograph). In addition, the project material will be piloted during regular trainings open to all students.
