On October 17, 2026, Sumy State University hosted an Open Day in a unique format. High school students, college students, teachers, and parents attended to experience the true atmosphere of student life and decide on their dream profession!
Nataliia Ovcharova, PhD and Associate Professor, represented the Department of Accounting and Taxation at the event.
All faculties and educational-scientific institutes of Sumy State University set up interactive stations featuring the latest technologies, where visitors could literally get a hands-on experience of every specialty.
The Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management (BiEM) – which includes our department – presented several highlights for guests, including eye-tracking technology, multi-angle filming, brain teasers, academic mobility programs, and the creation of joint portraits.
In addition, prospective students had the opportunity to take a trial NMT (National Multi-subject Test), while representatives from the Cultural and Arts Center and the Student Self-Government energized the guests with dancing, music, and informal interaction.
