Intermediation in employment abroad, changes to the licensing conditions are being prepared

On December 13, the Ministry of Economy published a draft Resolution of the CMU, which proposes to make changes to the Licensing conditions for the conduct of economic activity of mediation in employment abroad, approved by Resolution of the CMU dated 16.12.2015 No. 1060.

In order to bring the License Terms into compliance with Law No. 139-IX, the following changes are proposed:

  1. supplement the list of documents attached to the application for obtaining a license with information on the availability of places of activity for people with reduced mobility;
  2. to establish the licensee’s procedure during suspension of the license;
  3. supplement the License Terms with new appendices that establish the content and form of applications for license renewal and cancellation, license suspension and renewal, and information to be attached to the license application.

It is also suggested to clarify:

  • the importance of information about working conditions in terms of the obligation of the foreign employer;
  • the requirements of the Licensing Conditions for documents of foreign business entities, which are provided by license applicants, namely, the date of their issuance should not exceed 90 calendar days from the date of submitting the application for obtaining a license;
  • website of the licensee.
