EMPLOYMENT HISTORIES SHOULD BE DIGITIZED BY JUNE 10, 2026: HOW MANY HAVE ALREADY BEEN DONE?

We would like to remind you that from June 10, 2021, electronic work books will officially operate in Ukraine.

By law, employees and employers have five years to digitize employment records. After checking the data by the Pension Fund of Ukraine and entering them into the Register of Insured Persons of the State Register of Mandatory State Social Insurance, the final version of the electronic work book will be created. Since then, the paper version will be unnecessary and can be kept with the employee or kept parallel to the electronic version, if the employee so wishes.

Information about labor activity can be entered by the employees themselves and/or their employers. For this, it is necessary to have scanned color copies of all the pages of the work book in chronological order and the corresponding documents, which contain entries from the original work records or other documents confirming seniority.

And so, two years later, the PFU provided an infographic about how many labor books have already been digitized.

By July 18, 2023 – 3,856,700 employment histories have been digitized.
