On May 19, 2023, the Jean Monnet Summer School on “Competences for successful employment in EU companies and organizations ” ended with a two-hour Forum “ProRabota.Talks”, which gathered 105 participants – students, graduates and teachers.
The forum was focused on discussing important skills that will help graduates increase their competitiveness in the European labor market. The second part of the event was concentrated on the speeches of employers representatives of EU-related companies: “The EU Job Market Needs: Insights from the ЕU Employers on Professional Skills Development for Job Seekers”.
During the event, students had the opportunity to communicate directly with experts and ask questions about employment prospects, requirements for young professionals, and how to better develop professional skills to succeed in the EU. The experts’ advice covered key competencies important for employment in European organizations, as well as current labor market trends.
Experts’ most valuable advices were summarized in a video, which is available at the link: https://youtu.be/_dVgiZ2Xboc
The forum was implemented within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module project “EU Experiences for Enhancing Youth Employability through Professional Skills Development”, funded by the Erasmus+ program (ERASMUS – JMO -2021-MODULE -SKILLS4JOB-101047867).
