In June 2025, the third part of the training series is actively ongoing within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module project “EU experience in public debt management: conclusions for Ukraine in the war and post-war period”, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (101127602-EUEPDM-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH).

This phase of the training is being conducted under the guidance of PhD in Economics, Senior Lecturer Nataliia Viktorivna Ovcharova, and is focused on the theme:
📌 “Public Debt and Financial Security: Regional and Macroeconomic Dimensions”.

The training involves students and academic staff of Sumy State University, who are exploring the impact of debt policy on financial security at both the national and regional levels.

The program covers the following key topics:

  • The impact of debt policy on the financial stability of the country and its regions;
  • Integrating debt policy into the overall strategy of economic security;
  • Modeling debt burden: tools, methods, and practical case studies.

The third part of the series is expected to conclude at the end of June. Participants are already actively engaged in discussions, analyzing case studies, and developing practical skills to design effective strategies for public debt management in times of financial instability.
