The series of trainings ” Sustainability Ideas Generator: EU lessons for Ukraine” as part of the implementation of the Jean Monet Erasmus + project has been launched

On January 5, 2023, the Department of Accounting and Taxation hosted the event ” Sustainability Ideas Generator: EU Lessons for Ukraine” within the framework of the Jean Monet module project “Transparency. Accountability. Responsibility. Governance. Europe. Trust. Sustainability” financed by the Erasmus+ program (101085395— TARGETS — ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH). The event was dedicated to the start-up movement in the field of sustainable tourism, which is assessed by the experts of the World Tourism Organization as a very promising direction in the Goals of sustainable development. Special attention was paid to the experience of the EU in stimulating sustainable tourism and interesting startups of European origin.

The invited expert was Artem Rudychenko, a student in “Accounting and Taxation” at Sumy State University and a student at the University of Economics in Bratislava.

Artem shared his valuable experience as a start-up developer in the field of tourism, a winner in the All-Ukrainian YEP 2021 start-up competition, and a participant in international competitions and hackathons to accelerate his start-ups with undergraduate students majoring in “Accounting and Taxation”.
