The graduate student of the department took part in the online camp Active Citizens Camp

From 23 November to 10 December 2020, Maria Solodukha, a postgraduate student of the Department of Accounting and Taxation, participated in the online Active Citizens Camp (topic: “Effective communication in the community: how to be heard”). The main purpose of it was gaining experience in implementing social initiatives. During the theoretical part of the camp: participants gained knowledge about constructive dialogue and planning of sustainable social initiatives.

And the practical part, in the form of a simulation game, they allowed to develop a communication strategy: to determine the target audiences, communication channels and performance indicators.

Maria and her colleagues from other cities worked on an inclusive project to install ramps in places, where they don`t exist. The project was designed according to the requirements of EU donors and presented during the final session of the camp.

The project was implemented by the British Council with the financial support of the European Union under the House of Europe program, which aims to support professional and creative exchange between Ukrainians and their colleagues in the EU.
