According to Article 27 of the Labor Code of Ukraine, days when the employee actually did not work, regardless of the reason, are not included in the trial period.
Therefore, if he was not at work during this period due to illness, the probationary period can be extended for the corresponding number of days during which the employee was absent. It is also important to prevent mobbing and discrimination, ensure equal rights and opportunities for women and men in labor relations, and the need for psychosocial support at workplaces.
