On April 15, 2025, the Department of Accounting and Taxation successfully hosted the Annual Forum “Sustainable Solutions for Business in Accordance with EU Legislation”, organized as part of the Jean Monnet Module “Transparency. Accountability. Responsibility. Governance. Europe. Trust. Sustainability”, funded by the Erasmus+ programme (101085395 – TARGETS – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH).
This year’s forum focused on the theme “Transparency and Accountability in Rossmann: The Experience of a Leading European Retailer”, which attracted a wide range of participants, including scholars, business representatives, students, and experts on sustainable development and European integration.
The event showcased effective implementation of transparency and corporate accountability standards in the operations of Rossmann, one of Europe’s largest retail companies.
The special guest of the forum was Natalia Sirkovska, CFO of Rossmann, who shared the company’s practical experience in implementing European principles of responsible management.

The forum was held in an online format and became an effective platform for exchanging ideas, establishing professional connections, and discussing the challenges related to implementing European approaches to corporate governance.
