On May 24, 2023, the last virtual “EU-Ukraine best practice towards SDGs progress” were held at the Department of Accounting and Taxation of Sumy State University within the framework of the Jean Monet module project “Transparency. Accountability. Responsibility. Governance. Europe. Trust. Sustainability” financed by the Erasmus+ program (101085395– TARGETS – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH). The event was devoted to the sustainability benchmarks: Ukraine – EU experience.
Speakers were lecturers of the Department of Accounting and Taxation, Dr. of Sc., associate professor Makarenko Inna, Ph.D., associate professor Serpeninova Yuliya, Ph.D., senior lecturer Oleksich Zhanna More than 60 scientists and business representatives, students and post-graduate students from Ukraine and the EU joined as listeners, including bachelors, masters and post-graduate students majoring in “Accounting and Taxation”.
This event was the final in a series of virtual classes “EU-Ukraine best practice towards SDGs progress ” within the framework of the Jean Monnet Erasmus project, which aimed to summarize the best practices of European and Ukrainian representatives of business, scientific institutions and public opinion on achieving the goals of sustainable development in Ukraine and EU countries.
More than 130 scientists and business representatives, students and post-graduate students from Ukraine and the EU joined the series of virtual classes, including bachelors, masters and postgraduates majoring in “Accounting and Taxation” from Sumy State University. In addition, there were representatives of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, Lutsk National Technical University, Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute named after Ferenc Rakotsi II, Volyn National University named after Lesya Ukrainka, Poltava Polytechnic named after Yuriy Kondratyuk, etc.
