Congratulations to the team of authors of the Department of Accounting and Taxation – Makarenko Inna and Filatova Hanna and the Department of International Economic Relations – Alex Plastun and Anna Vorontsova on obtaining a certificate for the scientific work on the topic “Methodical principles of modeling the impact of traditional and ESG indices on the net international investment position”.
Traditional stock market indices and ESG indices, their impact on the net international investment position using quarterly data from Finland, Sweden, France, Spain and Ukraine for the years 2005-2021 are investigated in this research paper. The results provide direct evidence that ESG indices are closely related to their traditional counterparts, but both indices have no significant impact on the net international investment position of developed countries.
