Pensions will be recalculated from December, 1. The PFU cited three reasons for recalculating pensions in December 2022.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine says that from December 1, pensions will be recalculated in connection with:
- raising the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their ability to work, from UAH 2,027 to UAH 2,093 (Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2022”);
- establishment of a minimum pension payment for non-working persons with full insurance experience (30/35 years for women/men, respectively) under the age of 70 who receive “insurance” pensions, at the level of UAH 2,500 or in proportion to the available insurance experience, based on the amount of UAH 2,500 (paragraph 2 of the Resolution of the CMU dated September 15, 2021 No. 963 “On additional social protection of certain categories of persons in 2022 and beyond”);
- a change in the average salary indicator, which is used when calculating disability pensions and in connection with the loss of a breadwinner for participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chornobyl NPP and disabled members of their families (CMU Resolution No. 1210 dated 23.11.2011 as amended by the Resolution dated 09.12 .2021 No. 1307).
Pension calculations are carried out automatically without additional requests from pensioners.
Payment of pensions in the listed amounts will be made from December on the payment dates set for pensioners.
