On September 23-24, 2025, the fourth-year students of the Accounting and Taxation specialty had the opportunity to join a series of webinars on the topic “Primary: TOP 6 problematic issues for legal entities”. The webinars were conducted by practicing accountant and tax consultant Maryana Kavyn.
During the seminar, students had the opportunity to receive detailed information on the following practical topics:
- Primary docs, which are late. Accounting or self-act. Creation of security. Cases when it will not help
- The act of services rendered for the current month is drawn up next month. What problems can arise and how to avoid them?
- Documents in electronic form – cases when it is not a relief
- Internal primary documents – what is always missing?
- Minor shortcomings in primary documents – what does this mean?
- Internal regulations and acts – the necessary minimum that every enterprise should have.
Students had the opportunity to learn about the most critical errors in primary documents, which in turn lead to unreliable accounting and reporting and, as a result, additional assessments of income tax and VAT. The topics of the webinars were very useful, as they gave them the opportunity to deepen theoretical and practical skills on real practical cases, which will be useful in their further professional activities.
