On March 17, 2023, lecturers of the Department of Accounting and Taxation (Miroshnychenko O.V., Ovcharova N.V., Filatova H. P., Kravchenko O.V.) and masters of the “Accounting and Taxation” educational program (Diatlova V.V. ) took part in the faculty hour organized by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants AICPA&CIMA.
The faculty hour was devoted to the topic “CPA Evolution Series – Q&A with the AICPA Exams Team.” During this event, the Exams Team staff reviewed questions on the Blueprints for each of the Exam Sections of the exam. To make the Faculty Hour more productive and valuable for everyone, a form for questions and comments was sent to participants in advance.
In addition, expert Betsy Gordon (Temple University) shared her experience of how her university aligned their curriculum with the CPA exam.
The knowledge gained will be used in preparation for the CPA exam.
