From 16 to 23 September 2023, a student majoring in 071 “Accounting and Taxation”, Tetiana Rugal, took part in the Summer School within the framework of the project “Green Transition in Ukrainian Universities” from the Alliance of European Universities UNITE!
The participants actively discussed the green transformation of Ukrainian universities and searched for innovative approaches to implementing sustainable practices in the educational environment. The topics of the summer school were: “Renewable Energy”, “Green and Smart Transport”, “Recycling, Reuse, Reduction of Consumption”.
Throughout the week, Tetiana actively participated in groups and discussions aimed at considering green initiatives. She gained valuable experience and knowledge on how to implement sustainable development in the educational process.
Tetiana shared her impressions of the Summer School, emphasising that it was an incredibly interesting and informative trip: “The Summer School in Wroclaw was an incredible time that gave me a lot of experience in the field of smart cities, climate and environmental issues. It was my first trip abroad, and I am very happy that I had the chance to immerse myself in the life of such a beautiful city. Live communication with other students, workshops with teachers, and exploring the city itself were all very exciting and informative. I have not regretted taking part in the Summer School for a minute, as I have gained such useful knowledge and skills.”
