On the 29th of April 2025, an exciting practical workshop from PwC “PwC ESG Workshop: Strategic Guidelines for Sustainable Development” was held! Lecturers, students, and post graduate students joined the event.
Topic: Global Trends in the Development of the “Green” Economy
Speaker: Olha Tanchuk, Senior Consultant, ESG Services
The following issues were discussed during the event:
– The concept and importance of creating a “green” economy
– EU experience: regulatory framework, current achievements and future plans
– Experience of other countries: regulatory framework, current achievements and future plans
– The role of business (corporate and SME) in creating a “green” economy.
– Challenges of the modern world that hinder the transition to a “green” economy.
Workshop participants received practical insights on implementing environmental initiatives into business processes, learned about international best practices and current trends in sustainable development. The event became an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, discussion of challenges and opportunities that the “green” transition opens up for Ukrainian companies.
In addition to the informative presentation, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the structure of PwC, its professional opportunities and current vacancies. This information was presented by Alina Arustamian, Employer Brand Specialist.
