On May 3, 2022 there was an open lecture of the graduate student of the 2nd year Richmell Amanamah Baaba (supervisor Prof. Inna Makarenko) on the subject “Professional skills for international accounting” (lecturer the head of Department of Accounting and Taxation Yuliya Serpeninova).
The open lecture was attended by undergraduate students from groups OP-91 a, OP-91 oa.
Richmell Amanamah Baaba is a member of the Ghana Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAG), a senior lecturer in accounting at the University of Akenten Appiah Menka’s Skills and Entrepreneurship Development, and holds 2 master’s degrees in e-commerce and education.
Having a specialized education, the graduate student chose the topic of the lecture “The importance of ethics in the accounting profession.” It covered the principles, practical examples and threats to the professional ethics of accountants and auditors.
