On 27.11.2023, a presentation of the Jean Monnet module project “EU experience in public debt management: conclusions for Ukraine in the war and post-war period” (101127602-EUEPDM-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH) was held for lecturers of the Institute of BiEM.
The project team, consisting of lecturers of the Department of Accounting and Taxation Filatova H.P., Kravchenko O.V. and Ovcharova N.V., introduced the audience to the main ideas, goals and expected results.
The event was held in the format of an online conference.
The main goal of the proposed project is to multiply the EU experience (theoretical foundations, practical recommendations) in public debt management in Ukraine during the wartime and post-war periods. One of the main tasks is to raise awareness of these issues among young people and the public.
To achieve this, the following tasks are planned:
– Improve the curricula of existing courses (by including EU-related modules).
– Introduce a new MOOC “The public debt of Ukraine in the economic development policy in the war and post-war period: EU experience”.
– Conduct pilot testing of the newly developed MOOC modules and materials through summer and winter schools, as well as regular trainings open to all students.
– Promote the dissemination of EU practices and standards through the publication of scientific and journalistic articles and a monograph.
