Online meeting of 3rd-year-students of the specialty “Accounting and Taxation” with the lead accountant of the Michael’s Virgin Land Nature Reserve

On the 19th of October 2021 an online meeting of the 3rd-year-students of the specialty “Accounting and Taxation” and Viktoria Kolesnyk took place. The meeting was organized by the Associate Professor of the Chair of Accounting and Taxation Olena Kravchenko within the discipline “Accounting in budgetary institutions”.

Viktoria Kolesnyk is a lead accountant of the Michael’s Virgin Land Nature Reserve. During the meeting Victoria spoke about the peculiarities of the functioning and accounting of the reserve as a public sector entity, described the procedure for financing the institution, accounting for non-current and current assets, equity, and told about the main types of expenditures.

The online meeting took the form of a conversation; students were interested in the peculiarities of the work of this institution. We are grateful to Victoria for interesting communication and we hope for further cooperation!
