Graduate of the Accounting and Taxation Department – a volunteer at the European Voluntary Service in a German Organization

Last year, Anna Samborska, a graduate of the Accounting and Taxation Department, was a volunteer for a European volunteer service at a German organization. Living in the small city of Frankfurt-Oder, she has mainly assisted in the creation and implementation of international youth exchanges and projects, funded both by Erasmus + and German state funds. The main purpose of the projects was to provide motivation and advice for young people to reach their potential, as well as to be tolerant and respectful of one another in today’s multicultural society. After the successful completion of her volunteer year, Anna entered Viadrin University to pursue English Master’s Degree Program in International Business Administration, where she will obtain her education in the next two years.

“My decision to go for a year as a volunteer to Germany is one of the most significant decisions of my life. This experience was not only enriching and inspiring for me, it aslo has changed completely my life perseption and vision of the world as a whole. ” – reports Anna.
