The Department of Accounting and Taxation at Sumy State University has successfully completed the educational course “Transparency, Accountability, and Sustainable Business Development on the Path to EU Integration”, implemented within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module “Transparency. Accountability. Responsibility. Governance. Europe. Trust. Sustainability”, funded by the Erasmus+ program (101085395—TARGETS—ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH).
Throughout March 2025, course participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of sustainable development concepts, financing, and reporting in line with European standards. The course was delivered by experienced experts – Doctor of Economics, Professor Inna Makarenko, and PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Zhanna Oleskich, along with invited expert in over-the-counter derivatives, Senior Software Engineer at GlobalLogic Ukraine, Maksym Zaitsev.
