Invitation to participate in the series of trainings “Conceptual framework for public debt management: the case of the EU-Ukraine”

We invite everyone to join the series of trainings “Conceptual framework for public debt management: the case of  EU-Ukraine”, which will take place in April – June 2025. The trainings are part of the Jean Monnet module project “EU experience in public debt management: conclusions for Ukraine in the war and post-war period” (101127602-EUEPDM-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH), funded by the Erasmus+ program.

🔎 This year’s series consists of three interrelated thematic modules, each of which covers key aspects of the modern approach to public debt management in the comparative context of the EU-Ukraine:
📌 Part 1: “Tools and Analytical Approaches to Public Debt Management”
🔹 Main types of public debt instruments (including green and social bonds);
Fundamentals of fundamental and technical analysis to assess the effectiveness of debt policy;
🔹 Application of digital solutions for transparency and investor engagement.
🗓️ The first training of the series – April 11, 2025
📌 Part 2. “Strategic public debt management in the context of crisis challenges”
🔹 Debt planning in times of war and post-crisis recovery;
Risks of restructuring and attracting international assistance;
🔹 Examples from the experience of EU countries in crisis debt management.

📌 Part 3. “Public debt and financial security: regional and macroeconomic dimension”
🔹 The impact of debt policy on the financial stability of the country and regions;
Integration of debt policy into the overall economic security strategy;
🔹 Debt burden modeling: tools, methods, cases.
