On September 29, 2026, as a part of the research project “Non-financial Reporting as a Tool for Assessing Human Capital,” a workshop titled “Building a Career in ESG and CSR for Law Enforcement Professionals” was held for students majoring in Law Enforcement. Zhanna Oleksich, PhD and Senior Lecturer, was one of the speakers.<\/p>\n
What is ESG, and what role do law enforcement professionals play in it? Modern large-scale business operates according to the principles of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) and CSR (corporate social responsibility). Companies have a critical need for professionals capable of assessing risks and working with big data, ensuring compliance with laws and anti-corruption regulations, and identifying threats to maintain internal corporate security.<\/p>\n
And these are precisely the hard skills taught to law enforcement students!<\/p>\n
During the meeting, we didn’t just discuss theory; we analyzed real-world career paths. We talked about why a modern security professional cannot do without digital literacy, English proficiency, critical thinking, and an understanding of professional ethics.<\/p>\n
