On October 3, 2025, the lecturers of the Department of Accounting and Taxation took part in the all-Ukrainian round table “DIALOGUE OF THEORY AND PRACTICE: FORMATION OF A COMPETENT AUDITOR OF THE 21ST CENTURY”.<\/p>\n
The purpose of the event was to discuss ways to effectively integrate academic education and practical training of auditors in accordance with market needs, modern challenges, and international standards.<\/p>\n
Key discussion questions:<\/p>\n
– What theoretical concepts are often ignored in practice?<\/p>\n
– What practical challenges require theoretical understanding?<\/p>\n
– How is the auditing profession changing in the 21st century?<\/p>\n
– What skills (soft and hard skills) are key for a modern auditor?<\/p>\n
– What needs to be updated in the system of training audit specialists?<\/p>\n
– What is the optimal format of cooperation between universities and practices?<\/p>\n
– What forms of partnership between universities and audit companies are the most effective (internships, joint projects, guest lectures)?<\/p>\n
– How to effectively organize mentoring for students?<\/p>\n
– Obtaining the right to conduct auditing activities (graduates who received education abroad).<\/p>\n
