{"id":87058,"date":"2024-06-03T06:21:25","date_gmt":"2024-06-03T03:21:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/op.biem.sumdu.edu.ua\/?p=87058"},"modified":"2024-12-31T06:21:41","modified_gmt":"2024-12-31T04:21:41","slug":"improving-the-syllabus-of-academic-disciplines-within-the-framework-of-the-jean-monnet-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/op.biem.sumdu.edu.ua\/en\/improving-the-syllabus-of-academic-disciplines-within-the-framework-of-the-jean-monnet-project","title":{"rendered":"IMPROVING THE SYLLABUS OF ACADEMIC DISCIPLINES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE JEAN MONNET PROJECT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Within the framework of the Jean Monnet module \u2018EU experience in public debt management: lessons for Ukraine in the wartime and post-war periods\u2019 funded by the Erasmus+ programme (101127602 -EUEPDM -ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH), syllabi for a number of academic disciplines were improved, in particular<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Accounting (general theory)\u2019;<br \/>\n\u2018Financial Accounting;<br \/>\nIntegrated Specialised Course \u2018Accounting\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The main focus was on adapting teaching materials to current challenges, in particular<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>studying European approaches to public debt management;<br \/>\nIntegration of practical experience of EU countries into training courses;<br \/>\ntaking into account the specifics of Ukraine&#8217;s economic recovery in the post-war period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Main changes in the syllabus<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New sections and topics:<br \/>\n\u2018Public debt management in economic development policy: examples of the EU and Ukraine\u2019<br \/>\n\u2018Theoretical and methodological foundations of debt security of the national economy: EU experience\u2019<br \/>\n\u2018Methodological principles of forming a public debt management plan (as a component of the country&#8217;s recovery plan) in the war and post-war periods based on the experience of EU countries\u2019<br \/>\nPractical orientation:<br \/>\nCases demonstrating successful experience of public administration in times of crisis.<br \/>\nPractical tasks on analysing debt obligations and their classification.<br \/>\nModern teaching methods:<br \/>\nUse of interactive teaching methods: discussions, master classes, group work.<br \/>\nApplication of blended learning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The updated curricula will allow students to gain a deeper understanding of the role of accounting disciplines in the economic management system, including in crisis situations. This will contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists capable of working effectively in the field of accounting, finance and public administration.<\/p>\n<p>The project is funded by the European Union.
