O.\u00a0<\/i><\/b>as a member of the Association took part in this series of events.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"x1e56ztr\"><span class=\"x193iq5w xeuugli x13faqbe x1vvkbs x1xmvt09 x6prxxf xvq8zen xo1l8bm xzsf02u\">The facilitators were Ian Thomson, Professor of Accounting and Sustainability at University of Dundee Business School, UK, and Lisa Powell, an interdisciplinary educator and researcher at Monash Business School, UK.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"x1e56ztr\"><span class=\"x193iq5w xeuugli x13faqbe x1vvkbs x1xmvt09 x6prxxf xvq8zen xo1l8bm xzsf02u\">During the interactive sessions, the participants discussed the transformation of accounting education and the topic of sustainable development, examined in detail practical cases of integrating sustainable development and climate accounting into the main accounting units, and critically evaluated education for sustainable development.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A series of webinars &#8220;Educating for sustainable futures&#8221;, organised by the European Accounting Association, has been completed.\u00a0Doctor of Science, Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation\u00a0Makarenko I.
