On February 16, 2023, lecturers and second-year students of the Department of Accounting and Taxation took part in a professional webinar by CIMA on the topic “CIMA’S CGMA Finance Leadership Program”.<\/span><\/div>\n
Everyone can become a member of CIMA by choosing the new alternative route to CIMA’s CGMA Finance Leadership Program (FLP) qualification.<\/span><\/div>\n
The CGMA FLP is designed to provide the skills, practical experience and perspective businesses need from finance (and accounting) professionals. During the webinar, expert Kevin Gormley introduced the participants to the essence of CIMA’S CGMA Finance Leadership Program (FLP), the structure of the FLP program, its benefits and ways of application.<\/span><\/div>\n
During the second part of the webinar, Cian Ahern (Business Partner of AIB (the largest financial institution in Ireland)) shared his own experience of participating in CIMA’s CGMA FLP between March 2021 and May 2022. At the end of the webinar, participants had the opportunity to ask questions to both experts. <\/span><\/div>\n
