In accordance with Article 16 of the Law of Ukraine “On Mandatory State Social Insurance” No. 1105-XIV of September 23, 1999, temporary disability benefits are not provided:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. in case the insured person receives an injury or illness while committing a criminal offense;<\/li>\n
  2. in case of intentional harm to one’s health in order to avoid work or other duties or to simulate illness;<\/li>\n
  3. for the time of stay under arrest and for the time of forensic medical examination;<\/li>\n
  4. for the period of forced treatment prescribed by a court decision;<\/li>\n
  5. in case of temporary incapacity due to illness or injury caused by alcohol, narcotic, toxic intoxication or actions related to such intoxication;<\/li>\n
  6. for the period of the insured person’s stay on unpaid leave, creative leave, additional leave in connection with studies;<\/li>\n
  7. for the period of temporary incapacity for work specified in the certificate of incapacity for work, recognized as unjustified.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
