In December 2021, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Accounting and Auditing, Accounting and Taxation (Sumy State University) were accredited by\u00a0the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (<\/strong>CIMA<\/strong><\/a>), United Kingdom.<\/strong><\/p>

CIMA recognizes Sumy State University as an authoritative and respected higher education institution of Ukraine, providing a list of credits to graduates of this specialty, taking into account the improved procedure of CIMA accreditation of financial curricula. To receive the international CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting, bachelor’s and master’s graduates will have to pass only one exam – external testing – case study operational \/ managerial level (situational task). This will significantly accelerate the career development of graduates, strengthen competitive advantages in the labor market – because young professionals will have the knowledge and skills of the best world standards, which are in demand by domestic and international businesses.<\/p>

Credits will be provided to graduates of 2022-2026. Accreditation will be extended subject to successful cooperation and proper results of the examination for the qualification of CIMA candidates from the University.<\/p>

In addition, CIMA will provide free resources to improve the skills of teachers, students, help them understand the links between business and technical skills, and create the necessary conditions for training students in “Accounting and Taxation” in accordance with European requirements.<\/p>
