It was devoted to sustainable development, reporting, tackling climate change, alternative energy and responsible investment.<\/p><p>Associate Professor of the Chair of Accounting and Taxation Inna Makarenko took part in the session EU Sustainability Reporting Standards and the Future of Sustainability Reporting.<\/p><p>The speakers of the session were leading experts in the field of standardization of reporting on sustainable development of the EU: Alain Deckers (Head of Unit DG FISMA European Commission), Patrick de Cambourg (Chairman ANC and Chairman of EFRAG Project Task Force ANC and EFRAG), Mairead McGuinness (European Commissioner for Financial Stability, Financial Services and the Capital Markets Union, European Commission), Judy Kuszewski (Chair Global Sustainability Standards Board Global Reporting Initiative), Michel Madelain (Trustee IFRS Foundation).<\/p><p>The issues considered indicate the strengthening of the efforts of regulators to standardize reporting on sustainable development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November 1-12, 2021 &#8211; EU Conference Side Events COP26 (Glasgow, UK) was held under the auspices of the European Commission.
