On the 21st<\/sup> of September, 2021 a meeting of the 1st year students of the Chair of Accounting and Taxation with Serhii Zaikin took place. Serhii is the graduate of the very first graduation year of the Chair of Accounting and Taxation (former Chair of Accounting and Audit as the part of the Ukrainian Banking Academy). Serhii Zaikin is the branch manager of the bank PUMB (Branch \u21161, Sumy). The meeting was organized by Oleh Skorba, PhD, Associate Professor within the study of the discipline ” Introduction to the specialty”.<\/p>

During the meeting, Serhii spoke about the need to master the specialty “Accounting and Taxation” and underlined competencies needed for a future bank specialist. He briefly told about the peculiarities of accounting in the banking sector. Serhii told students about his way to the position and about the importance of studying the disciplines on the way to obtaining a diploma. During the meeting, students were interested in the difficulties faced by graduates of the specialty in practice, employment opportunities, questions for job interviews, etc.<\/p>
