In December 2021, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Accounting and Auditing, Accounting and Taxation (Sumy State University) were accredited by\u00a0the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (<\/strong>CIMA<\/strong><\/a>), United Kingdom.<\/strong><\/p>

CIMA recognizes Sumy State University as an authoritative and respected higher education institution of Ukraine, providing a list of credits to graduates of this specialty, taking into account the improved procedure of CIMA accreditation of financial curricula.<\/p>

The partnership between Sumy State University and CIMA will allow graduates in “Accounting and Auditing”, “Accounting and Taxation” to facilitate the CIMA qualification process in the future, as CIMA Certification, Operational and Management exams will be credited upon successful completion. Exemption from certain CIMA exams gives students an advantage because it gives them the opportunity to obtain international certification in a much shorter time.<\/span><\/p>

To receive the international CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting, bachelor’s and master’s graduates will have to pass only one exam – external testing – case study of operational \/ managerial level (situational task). This will significantly accelerate the career development of graduates, strengthen competitive advantages in the labor market – because young professionals will have the knowledge and skills of the best world standards, which are in demand by domestic and international businesses.<\/span><\/p>

Credits will be provided to graduates of 2022-2026.
