The Chair of Accounting and Taxation was established on the basis of the order of the Rector of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking \u2116 165-uch (dated July 2, 1998).<\/p>

The concept of the department is based on state standards of higher education, on the basic principles of integration of higher education in Ukraine into the European educational space, and the real needs of employers to form certain competencies in graduates are taken into account as well.<\/p>

The teaching staff of the Chair of Accounting and Taxation is formed of highly professional specialists who have sufficient practical and scientific experience, which allows teaching disciplines at the level of modern world standards.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Chair of Accounting and Taxation is a graduating department <\/strong>for<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>

\u2013\u00a0bachelors under the educational program “Accounting and Auditing”;<\/p>

\u2013 masters under the educational and professional program “Accounting and Taxation”;<\/p>

\u2013 masters under the educational and scientific program “Accounting, Auditing and Taxation in International Business”.<\/p>

Since the foundation, the department carries out a variety of topics and forms of scientific and methodological work. Thus, the teachers of the department have prepared more than 200 methodological developments, published more than 800 scientific papers, including more than 200 monographs, textbooks and manuals.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

On a regular basis the staff of the Chair organizes courses on the study of software in the field of accounting (1C: Accounting 8 for Ukraine) and tax reporting (M.E.Doc) for students and staff of the Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management of Sumy State University.<\/p>

The graduates of the Chair of Accounting and Taxation<\/strong> hold senior positions at enterprises, institutions and organizations of Sumy region, other regions of Ukraine, as well as abroad. They work as accountants, tax specialists, head financial and economic and accounting services and departments of industrial, agricultural, construction, oil, gas, transport and other enterprises, banks.
